Lake Van is Dying, Say ScientistsVAN (Combined Sources)–Scientists in Turkey have warned that Lake Van in the southeastern part of the country will disappear in the next 10-15 years if no radical measures are applied to save it. Lake Van is regarded the fifth biggest lake in Europe.
Lake Van, in the historic Armenian province of Vaspurakan, is the cradle of Armenian civilization and has been the capital of various Armenian Kingdoms throughout history. It is regarded as the fifth largest lake in Europe.
The warning came from the Turkish Marine Environment Protection Association (TURMEPA). Read more

What spoils the Prime Minister’s mood?Yesterday on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Shushi Liberation NA chairman Tigran Torosyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, ministers and MPs visited the Yerablur. However, many of the liberation warriors, who have directly participated in the war of Shushi and the war in Karabakh, were in prisons on that day. What is the opinion of the Prime Minister about the fact that may of the courageous warriors were in prison? As a response and after being silent for a few seconds Tigran Sargsyan said, “You are now trying to spoil the holiday mood that dominates here.
